Mother’s Day Out

Village Parkway Mother's Day Out provides a Tuesday/Thursday program for preschool-aged children, preparing them for school while giving parents time for errands or self-care. We emphasize a positive school experience, blending spiritual and educational growth through structured activities and play. Our curriculum introduces 3- and 4-year-olds to basic concepts, with chapel on Tuesdays and science activities on Thursdays, utilizing weekly themes to engage all learners.

Important Information

  • Village Parkway Mother's Day Out (MDO) is a part-time Christian pre-school program for children age birth thru 4 years of age.

Our mission is to provide for the care and development of each child spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially.
    Schedule:

Village Parkway MDO distributes a schedule to include the holiday calendar for September through May. School days are twice per week, on Tuesday and Thursday, from 9am to 2pm.

    Closures:

For closures due to inclement weather, MDO follows the Northside ISD. Check local news for announced closures when needed.

  • All of our MDO teachers go through an annual background check and complete "Ministry Safe" training. Additionally, all of our MDO teachers are First Aid and CPR certified.

Each year, in order to bring fresh ideas to all of our classrooms, our teachers are also required to participate in Early Childhood Education courses which are offered throughout the year.

  • Registration:

We would love to enroll every family who is interested in our MDO, however, space is limited. Enrollment is reserved based on a first come and first serve basis.

For information about class availability and enrollment, please email Becky Sparrow at: bsparrow@vpbc.net. You may also call the MDO office at: (210) 680-4203 and leave a message.

    Important Notes:

There is a $ 60.00 Registration Fee due at the time of enrollment to hold the child's spot.

Students entering the 3's and 4's departments must be fully potty-trained by the first day of class.
