Pastor Ryan has served churches and ministries for over twenty-five years in the Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Victoria areas. After earning a degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University, he completed the Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and later earned a Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a specialization in church revitalization.

Ryan believes the local church is God’s primary instrument for making disciples and displaying the hope of the gospel to the world. His passion is helping churches renew their mission, strengthen their discipleship, and faithfully proclaim Christ in their communities. He is convinced that lasting renewal is never the product of strategy alone but is the work of the Holy Spirit through God’s Word, prayer, and the faithful obedience of God’s people.

His ministry philosophy is simple: acknowledge the culture, engage the community, but always let the final word belong to God. Whether preaching God’s Word, shepherding God’s people, or serving the community, Ryan desires every ministry opportunity to point people beyond himself and ultimately to Jesus Christ.

Ryan often reminds the congregation, “No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, you can restart and renew right now, in Jesus Christ.” That message of hope shapes his preaching and pastoral ministry because he believes the gospel offers forgiveness, new life, and a future to everyone who trusts in Christ.

One of the greatest blessings in Ryan’s life is his family. He met his wife, Carrie, while studying at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she earned a Master of Communications. Together, they have three children whom they love dearly. They have served together in ministry throughout their marriage and are grateful for the privilege of raising their family while serving Christ through the local church
