30 Hour Famine
Friday-Saturday, September 17-18 - FREE
Students around the world loving God and fighting hunger. It’s that simple.

SUNDAY
Here's our typical Sunday.
Sunday School @ 9:30AM-10:30AM (Student Center - Room 306)
Sunday School @ 10:45AM-11:50AM (Student Center - Room 307)
WITNESS @ 4PM-4:50PM (Drama and Music in Student Center Room 308)
This group performs music and dramas for our student worship, church, and community. Witness meets in the Sanctuary and asks students to commit for the semester to performing dramas and songs.
A-Team @ 5PM-6PM (Student Center - Gathering Room)
These groups meet for prayer and Bible Study. Our student small groups share prayer requests and study topics suggested by the students as well as perform brief service projects.

IGNITE
6:30PM-7:30PM- Every Wednesday
(Student Center)
Come hang out, listen to music, and play games from 6PM-6:30PM. Then at 6:30PM in the Student Ministry Area, students gather and talk about God. We study the Bible through video, music, games, drama, and more until 7:30PM. Then we hang out some more until 8PM. Come experience a fire that never goes out.
WILD 'N CRAZY WEDNESDAYS
These are the last Wednesday of each month during the school year. We sing, pray and play on these nights.

SERVICE/MISSIONS
Plans are already in motion for more students to participate this summer. Read below for details.
Brazil 2011
We are preparing for the 2011 trip. The trip dates are yet to be determined, Our dparture and return dates may fluctuate by one day depending on airfare costs and mission availability.
Brownsville
Students and adult sponsors serve in Brownsville, TX, but the trips into Mexico are will depend on conditions in Matamoros. Students lead Backyard Bible Clubs (Escuela Biblico) for neighborhood children in Brownsville and perform service projects in town. This will continue in 2011 with more opportunities for service and evangelism.

Student Ministry Table
The student ministry table is dierectly outside of the worship center. On it you will find information about our youth activities. We have newsletters, forms, and more on the table. If you have questions, please call or email.
NEWSLETTER-The Pupak
We publish a newsletter of student events titled the Pupak. The website is your most up-to-date source for all the ministries of the VPSM, but we do try to publish a print newsletter with relevant information. This can be found on the Student Ministry Table or by clicking the link below.

College and Career
We have a fantastic group of young adults who are active in their church, community, work places, and schools, and we have a ministry team to match them. Come join us for weekly Bible Study and fellowship.

Lamar and Debbie Whitis teach the College/Career Sunday School class. Lamar's knowledge of the Scripture will challenge you to live a life of authentic faith and will always point you to God while Debbie's faithful commitment to the Scripture and a life that reflects who God is will inspire you to pursue Him everyday.

SUNDAY SCHOOL 9:30AM & 10:45AM
Our student ministry has the best teachers in San Antonio! Bible studies are available at 9:30AM and 10:45AM in the student center.
9:30AM Bible study meets in the video game room (room 306) in the student center. This class is taught by a rotation of our Bible study leaders.
At 10:45AM, students meet in the gathering room (room 307) for worship and announcements and then divide into these groups: 7th-9th grade guys (Rm 312), 7th-9th grade ladies (Rm 313), 10th-12th grade guys (Rm 306), and 10th-12th grade ladies (Rm 308). We hope to see you soon!

WITNESS - Sundays @ 4PM-4:50PM
Witness is our student ministry drama and music team. Students meet in the Student Center from 4PM to 4:50PM for rehearsal. Witness shares sketches and music for the student ministry, church, and community. Students are asked to make a semester commitment to the program.

A-TEAM - Sunday @ 5PM-6PM
A-Team meets on Sundays from 5PM-6PM in the Student Center. We meet for Bible study and prayer. We study topics selected by students; students are asked to pray for one another; and students perform small service projects on Sunday evening.
