Here is a list of our upcoming activites.
Concert - Cating Crowns and Kutless
Thursday, March 11 - Cost is ticket price
Casting Crowns and Kutless are coming to San Antonio. This is the Thursday before Spring Break, so make sure your tests, homework, and other stuff is done so you can go. More information on ticket prices will be available shortly. Typically it is about $20.
Spring Break
Wednesday, March 17 - 9AM-9PM - Corpus Christi - Cost $10
Meet at the church at 9AM. We will leave for Corpus as close to that time as possible. We will eat lunch at the Whataburger on the bay. This is included in the cost. Then we will drive to Mustang Island for some time on the beach. We will eat sadwiches for supper on the beach. We will stop at a souvenir shop on the way. You will need money for souvenirs and additional food and drink.
Friday, March 19 - 5PM-7PM - Malibu Grand Prix - Cost $10
Meet at Malibu Castle. This event includes go-carts, mini-golf, food, and games.

SUNDAY
Here's our typical Sunday.
Sunday School @ 9:30AM-10:30AM (Student Center - Room 306)
Sunday School @ 10:45AM-11:50AM (Student Center - Room 307)
WITNESS @ 4PM (Drama and Music in Student Center Room 308)
This group performs music and dramas for our student worship, church, and community. Witness meets in the Sanctuary and asks students to commit for the semester to performing dramas and songs.
A-Team @ 5PM-6PM (Student Center - Gathering Room)
These groups meet for prayer and Bible Study. Our student small groups share prayer requests and study topics suggested by the students.

IGNITE
6:30PM-7:30PM- Every Wednesday
(Student Center)
Come hang out, listen to music, and play games from 6PM-6:30PM. Then at 6:30PM in the Student Ministry Area, students gather and talk about God. We study the Bible through video, music, games, drama, and more until 7:30PM. Then we hang out some more until 8PM. Come experience a fire that never goes out.
WILD 'N CRAZY WEDNESDAYS
These are the last Wednesday of each month during the school year. We sing, pray and play on these nights.

SERVICE/MISSIONS
In the summer of 2009, the students and adult sponsors of the Student Ministry served in Florianopolis, Brazil and Brownsville, Texas. Plans are already in motion for more students this summer. Read below for details.
Brazil - $2000
We are preparing for the 2010 trip. The trip dates are June 18-26, but our dparture and return dates may fluctuate by one day depending on airfare costs.
Brownsville/Matamoros - $140
Students and adult sponsors serve in Brownsville, TX, but the trips into Mexico are will depend on conditions in Matamoros. Students lead Backyard Bible Clubs (Escuela de Verano) for neighborhood children in Brownsville and witness in Matamoros. This will continue in 2010 with more opportunities for service and evangelism.

This inventory serves as a good place to start in ministry and does not limit what God can do through you. Just because you don't score well in a specific area of ministry does NOT mean that you shouldn't do it. God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called. |

The New Student Ministry Building
Students, Village Parkway values you and has proved it by building you your own building. Most students attend the 9:30AM worship service and the 10:45AM Sunday School hour. But for those students wanting to attend the 10:45AM worship service, there is a class for you too. 9:30AM Youth Bible Study is in room 306 (the video game room). 10:45AM Bible Study meets in the Student Center (room 307).
Student Ministry Table
The student ministry table is dierectly outside of the worship center. On it you will find information about our youth activities. We have newsletters, forms, and more on the table. If you have questions, please call or email.
NEWSLETTER-The Pupak
We publish a newsletter of student events titled the Pupak. The website is your most up-to-date source for all the ministries of the VPSM, but we do try to publish a print newsletter with relevant information. This can be found on the Student Ministry Table or by clicking the link below.

College and Career
We have a fantastic group of young adults who are active in their church, community, work places, and schools, and we have a ministry team to match them. Come join us for weekly Bible Study and fellowship.
Sunday Bible Study:
Room 208 - Upstairs in the Education Building
Lamar and Debbie Whitis teach the College/Career Sunday School class. Lamar's knowledge of the Scripture will challenge you to live a life of authentic faith and will always point you to God while Debbie's faithful commitment to the Scripture and a life that reflects who God is will inspire you to pursue Him everyday.
Angelo Gonzalez and Glynrose Brinson are faithful assistants and facilitators of the College/Career gatherings. Both are positive, outgoing, available, and real. They each have years of ministry experience and will do their best to support your daily relationship with God.
