The Village Parkway Singles Ministry is both a ministry to single adults ages 30+ in our church and community, as well as to the world. Our goal is to provide a place of worship, fellowship and spiritual growth for singles so that we can produce spiritual fruit in our church, community, families, and workplaces.
Fellowship: We are currently in the process of reorganizing our group and the activities of fellowhsip. We enjoy game night and movie nights. We are looking for events that provide wholesome entertainment. Plans include sporting events, bowling, and performances at San Pedro Playhouse and/or Majestic theater. Feel free to check our webpage for updates or call the church office at 680-7813 to inquire about our calendar of activities.
We meet one Sunday a month (after the worship service) for lunch at a local restaurant to visit with each other and fellowship with Singles in our church.
Discipleship: We meet weekly for Sunday School at 9:30am. We are currently following the Lifeway curriculum. This winter we are studying the Old Testament books of Numbers and Deuterenomy (Life on the Edge). In the spring, we'll be studying the book of Luke (The Truth About Jesus) and in the summer we'll look at Joshua, Judges, and Ruth (Character at the Crossroad).
Join us as we journey through the Bible and learn what God has spoken thru His Word.
Ministry: Currently we are reorganizing due to a change in leadership. We want to have a service project each quarter that will minister to our church and/or community.
