San Antonio Metropolitan Ministries (SAMMinistries) The members of this team plan the menu as well as buy food and prepare it at their homes. They then take it to the shelter on Blanco Rd. Team members serve the food, cafeteria style in a large commercial kitchen, to the resident families every fourth Tuesday evening of the month. For information contact the church office.

Airmen For Christ is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ under the leadership of missionaries David and Lourdes Merriman.
"Pray For Our Troops" is a ministry created on Facebook by Richard Canedo, a member of VPBC. Trainees at Lackland Air Force Base can post prayer requests here and anyone interested in this ministry can read the requests and take them to the Lord in prayer. We encourage all our members and visitors to our website to take a few moments to pray for these men and women who are putting their lives on the line in the defense of our nation.
